Therapist on Wheels is a young organisation but staffed by people with experience in the community development sector. It is based in Postmasburg and operates in the Tsantsabane Municipality of the Northern Cape.
They focus on providing mental health awareness, and therapeutic support services to communities in the Tsantsabane municipality. In addition, they have a focus on gender-based violence and femicide which is an issue in the communities they serve.
Highlights of their 2024 programme include partnering with Soul City on the Karebelo GBV response program and participating in Wellness Days with a mine at Beeshoek and with Transnet.
