SCAT is looking for an experienced and committed Energy Justice Programme Coordinator to join our team and help advance community-led responses to climate and energy challenges.
The role will work closely with rural communities, community-based organisations and project partners to support meaningful participation in the Just Transition, strengthen climate and energy justice advocacy and contribute to practical, locally-driven renewable energy initiatives.
We are looking for someone with relevant experience in climate or energy justice, project coordination, advocacy, policy engagement or community-based development and a strong commitment to ensuring that rural communities are not left behind in South Africa’s energy transition.
