Sandsloot Youth Development (SYD) is a youth-led non-profit organisation based in rural Limpopo, working to empower, equip, and inspire young people through inclusive, community-based development initiatives. SYD is driven by the philosophy of Ubuntu and operates with a deep commitment to building resilient communities through advocacy, education, and sustainable development.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Successfully facilitated GBV for Change in 2024 across four villages and in schools.
Implemented a sustainable food security and agroecology project engaging 20 households and 3 schools.
Established a community youth hub which now serves as an activity and resource centre for the area.
