The Rural Action for Climate Resilience (RACR) project, implemented by SCAT, works to strengthen the capacity of rural communities in South Africa to respond to climate change through locally driven solutions. In partnership with the South African Faith Communities’ Environment Institute (SAFCEI) and funded by the Embassy of Ireland, the project focuses on food security, water conservation, and climate awareness. RACR equips community-based organisations with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to mitigate climate impacts and promote lasting environmental resilience.
