To celebrate #WomensDay in South Africa, we are proud to release our “Women In Leadership” publication. This publication is the result of an 18-month learning journey with women leaders from communities supported by SCAT’s rural community-based organizations.
The women with SCAT, alongside our writing facilitator Vuyokazi Ngemntu, began crafting these stories in February. While some stories flowed easily, others were meticulously developed over several weeks after our writing module. We believe every story is important and extend our gratitude to all participants.
A special thank you to our editor, Kathy Lewis, for ensuring the authentic voices of our women leaders remained intact throughout the editing process.
