The Kgatelopele Social Development Forum (KSDF) is an established Local Development Association located in Danielskuil in the Northern Cape. The strength of the organisation is drawn from a board that is made up of community leaders, business leaders and officials from the local mining industry.

The organisation runs an access to justice programme, offering paralegal advice and support to victims of gender-based violence, and assisting people in accessing social services.

During the first quarter of 2025, their communal food garden and community feeding project provided nutritious meals five days a week to 362 beneficiaries across 221 vulnerable households. The feeding scheme is  supported by the Department of Social Development and Food Forward SA.

They have also established a seed bank to help first-time gardeners start their own household food gardens. Promoting sustainable practices, they produce their own compost and incorporate permaculture methods. They actively encourage household food gardens to utilize mulching and composting to enhance their success in growing food.
